Job Description:
Fredrick Towers Inc. is looking for a skilled Superintendent with a preferred background in public works and college projects. The ideal candidate will excel in preparing and interpreting plans and specifications, working collaboratively within a team, and adhering to our organizational rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage public works projects from start to finish.
– Prepare and interpret detailed plans and specifications.
– Ensure compliance with OSHA 30 and CPR certification requirements.
– Conduct regular site inspections and enforce safety protocols.
– Coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
– Manage various work schedules, including day, swing, split shifts, and occasional Saturdays.
– Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in public works and college projects is preferred.
– Proficient in Excel and Blue Beam.
– Fluent in English (reading, writing and communication).
– Familiar with civil and site construction.
– Ability to pass a DOJ background test and drug test.
– Strong leadership and communication skills.
– Self- starter with the ability to follow organizational rules and regulations.
Additional Requirements:
– 90-day probationary period before gaining permanent status
